The Iris collection
The Iris Collection is a study of resilience, nature, and sacred spaces. Each of these tiny blooms invites the viewer to consider light, the way it moves and bounces and warms. Each time I’d start a new iris study, the feeling they would evoke was one of walking into the stillness and beauty of a cathedral with the stained glass windows lit up. I’m awed by the beauty of nature and its ability to reflect the glory of its Creator. I hope they invite you to quiet reflection, peaceful meditation, or a consideration of beauty as a naturally occurring presence in the world.
