This print celebrates the Tennessee State Flower in full glory. Near my home is the Tennessee Iris garden, where winning iris varieties from each year bloom annually. The blooms are often large enough to fill both my hands, but they only last a day or so before they’re gone and the next one opens. It’s worth a daily visit for about two weeks each spring to take in the every-shifting beauty of these flowers. The time and energy people put into cultivating new varieties has paid off for generations!
